This is just me and Everett. We enjoyed playing outside for a while this afternoon! He is an outdoorsey boy and I am very much an indoorsey girl. I'm learning to adapt and adjust and having a heap of fun in the process! :)
Everett is getting soooo big! He turned a year old on March 12. He's still crawling, but will probably start walking very soon. We are waiting for him to hit 22 lbs so he can right facing the front in his car seat. He's a sweet heart. He now gives hugs and kisses when asked (when he's in the mood to anyway). Lately he's been a bit grumpy due to teething. Growing teeth is very hard work apparently! He now has 3 that I can count. He actually has a good vocabulary going so far. He signs "milk" correctly and appropriately and with gusto when he's ready for it! He also says bye bye, eye, light, mama, da da, out. He LOVES to be outside and I think he's stay out all day long if I would take him. He loves to swing and slide and pop bubbles. I'm enjoying him soooo much!
We are thrilled to be parents! God is so good and His timing IS perfect! We've been praying and asking for a long time and He said "YES"!
Thank you to all of those who prayed with us! We are finally parents!
For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother's womb.
I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.
